    Summer Hours
    Hope you are enjoying summer and all it has to offer. Our summer office hours are: Monday-Thursday 8AM-3PM & Friday 8AM-2PM.  Updated hours will be on the voice mail message in the event staff is out of the building.  Please call the office before visiting. 201.445.7700x8978
    Elementary student class placement can be accessed via the Genesis Parent Portal, Wednesday, August 24 at 12 noon.
    Login for the Genesis Parent Portal is found under the parents/students tab on the main page of the district website.

    Summer Enrichment through GRCS

    This summer the Glen Rock Community School is offering several programs to inspire young writers and encourage young readers. In addition, we are offering a special one-week program for incoming 6th graders who are "Making the Move to Middle School." Also, our Study Skills program is open to all incoming 5th and 6th graders. Please visit the links below for more information. These are limited-enrollment programs – early registration is highly recommended!

    Reader’s Clubhouse, for students entering Grades 1-2 and 3-5. Students at all reading levels will enjoy this opportunity to share – or develop – their love of reading with their peers. Click here.
    Rock Solid Reading Foundations, for students entering Grades 1-2. The newest addition to our Language Arts summer enrichment, Rock Solid provides students with engaging, phonics-based classroom instruction focused on specific areas of need. Click here.
    Young Authorsfor students entering Grades 3-5. Keep writing skills sharp this summer while working alongside other young authors. Click here.
    Middle School Success

    For students entering 6th grade $99
    August 15-19, 1-2 p.m. Glen Rock Middle School

    The transition from elementary to middle school can be a daunting one. This course offers practical solutions and preparation tips to make it easier. Click here for more information.
    Study Skills Essentials
    For students entering grades 5-8
    August 8-12, 1-2:15 p.m. Glen Rock Middle School $125

    This program provides the necessary tools that are imperative for success in middle school and beyond, including organizational skills, time management, following directions and other key skills important for school success.Click here for additional information.

    A donation of $500 was presented by the Glen Rock Jaycees During Coleman School’s January H.S.A. general membership meeting.  The donation provided Core Wobble Chairs for each classroom.  Pictured are Jaycees /Coleman parents, Josh Bratspies and Russ Patane, with several H.S.A. members and school principal, who tested out the new chairs!  The Jaycees graciously donated to every elementary school, as well as the Middle & High School!
