Parking Reminder This is a reminder that parents picking up Kindergarteners must use parking spaces around the loop or on the street. Parking in the staff lot to pick up or drop off kindergarteners is prohibited. The Police Department has granted permission for parents to park adjacent to the yellow curb in the traffic loop at dismissal time to pick up morning kindergarteners; however, you may not leave your car unattended at any time. This is a fire zone and you will be ticketed
Parking in front of the school, in the staff lot or in front of the angled spaces is prohibited at any time. Do not drive through the parking lot at any time to pick up or drop off your child. This is for staff access only.
Please be certain every caregiver who transports your child to and from school knows and understands the procedures. They are in place for the safety of our entire school community.

Happy New Year Coleman Families! Please be reminded for everyone’s safety, students may not arrive to school before 8:25 every day. Assistants are on duty beginning at 8:25 to supervise the children. NO ONE should be arriving before 8:25. Students arriving after 8:38 are marked tardy. Please be sure your child arrives to school on time every day to maximize their learning and get their day off to a positive start. Thank you. Mrs. Wright spoke with the students regarding head lice prevention. Recommendations included not sharing combs, brushes, hair bands and ties, hats and scarves. Students were also reminded to avoid direct head contact with friends and classmates, and to tie back or pin up long hair. The children will also remind parents to check their heads on a regular basis when no known cases exist (at least once every two weeks) and daily when a case is reported in their grade. If parents have any questions, they may contact the nurses in the health office. Reminder: Dogs are not allowed on school property at any time. Thank you for your cooperation. Thanks to our Student Council, their advisors, Mrs. Spiech & Mrs. Neugebauer, and our Coleman Community for their generous donations of hats, mittens and scarves to help those in need!
